Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of economic transformations on investment in Algeria over the past decades. Algeria has undergone several radical economic transformations since independence, starting with the socialist system, moving on to a market economy, and passing through a period of structural adjustment and economic liberalization reforms. These transformations have had a direct impact on the investment climate and the flow of domestic and foreign capital. The results indicate that economic transformations have had a mixed impact on investment, with some reforms achieving positive results in attracting investment, while others have faced implementation challenges that have negatively affected the investment climate.
